Mary Jane had sent me some various pink and green fabrics.  It took me a while to figure out what to make.  I did some paper piecing and each 12"x12" square is the same pattern, just mixed up the colors a little.  I then added some of our Robert Kaufman Forest Marbleous fabric for the sashing and boarder, adding corner square triangles for a little variety.  The quilt measures 48"x48" and could be used as a lap throw, or I might even add some tabs to make it into a wall hanging.  I'll call this one 'Pinwheels in the Grass'

The next one is a lap/crib 58"x58" quilt that I created in one weekend - started it on Sat., Feb. 28th and completed the quilting on Sun., Mar. 1st - even had time to finish handsewing the binding!
 
I had purchased 5 - 1 yd pieces of fabric without knowing what I was going to make!  I had purchased the last 'Trip Around the Irish Chain' pattern by Cotton Pickin' Designs and added my own design touches and I then created, what I would like to call, "Hugs and Kisses".  Can you see the X's and the O's?
