Welcome to Sew Quilting!!!

Well, it seems like forever since we have posted anything to our this website, but not to fear, we're still here! Both Mary Jane and I have been creating, sewing and quilting up a virtual "storm"!!

Since my craft show in November, we did make it through the holidays, and have hit the ground running in 2010....

I am finishing (scratch that // now FINISHED) up some projects that I didn't have time to complete last year. This includes a quilt that I began last September for my husbands great-granddaughter (Hailey)...PLUS a wall hanging that I started before that!  Here are those pictures I promised....Thanks for returning to check them out!!!!

Here is Hailey's quilt called "Tile Tango" by Atkinson Designs.  Measures 54" x 70".  Kind of hard to tell, but it's lady bug fabric, shades of green 9 patch squares, surrounded by yellow strips with red/black polka dot boarders -- C-U-T-E!!!

• Making, altering and repairing outfits for the AZ Dickens Carolers.

• Making Hawaiian dance costumes for one of the performances at the Arizona Aloha Festival at the Tempe Town Lakes March 13 & 14.

• Designing and making window cornices, drapes, pillows, etc.

• And in between that, I do alterations for several customers.  Oh, and I really do have a normal full time, day job, too!
  

• She has a typical BUSY home life with my wonderful son-in-law, Vinny, and 2 fantastic grandchildren, Cody and Carlee.  The kids are into baseball, basketball, etc., etc., etc.
  

• Cares for her grandma (my mother) who will be 90 this year! Mary Jane takes her shopping, to all her appointments, etc., etc., etc.

• She also sews, quilts, creates and has a part time job at Close to Home in CT making home decor pillows, drapes, cushions, cornices - you name it, she can make it!!!!

• Mary Jane is starting to learn to dye fabric, so stay tuned for her new creations!
